Usage charges and add-ons
Systeme.io's comparison table lists unlimited emails sent and 0% transaction fees on every plan, Free included. The payment processor you connect, such as Stripe or PayPal, charges its own fees, which we did not verify.
GoHighLevel marks Conversation AI, Voice AI, Reviews AI, email and SMS marketing, and inbound and outbound calling as usage-based. Its FAQ says the subscription does not cover phone numbers, SMS, emails sent and premium AI usage, and that on Unlimited and Founder you can rebill these costs to clients. We did not price that usage, so the GoHighLevel figures below are a minimum.
GoHighLevel also lists paid add-ons, including: AI Employee at $50 or $97 a month per sub-account, SEO at $79 a month per sub-account, a branded client portal app at $49 a month per sub-account, HIPAA compliance at $297 a month, premium support at $500 a month and a white label mobile app at $497 a month.

What each plan includes
Systeme.io, from its comparison table: sales funnels at 3, 10, 50 and unlimited; automation rules at 1, 10, 100 and unlimited; workflows at 1, 5, 20 and unlimited; CRM pipelines at 1, 5, 20 and 100; custom domains at 1, 3, 10 and unlimited; websites at 1, 5, 20 and unlimited; courses at 1, 5, 20 and unlimited, with 500 students on Free and unlimited students on the paid plans; evergreen webinars at 10 on Webinar and unlimited on Unlimited. Its page says every plan allows unlimited sub-accounts, each with the same limits as the main plan, at no extra cost.
GoHighLevel, from its pricing page: every plan includes the core features, among them a website and funnel builder, CRM and pipelines, email and SMS marketing, calling, unified conversations, social media management, workflow automation, booking calendars, an ad manager, reputation management, payments and invoicing, courses, communities and a mobile app. Unlimited adds unlimited sub-accounts, rebilling of phone and email at no markup and basic API access. Founder adds rebilling with a markup and partner network access. GoHighLevel states a 14-day free trial on every plan and month-to-month billing with no long-term contract.
Which one fits
If you sell courses or digital products to your own list, Systeme.io covers it for less up to 10,000 contacts, with emails included. At 5,000 contacts the gap is $800 a year billed annually: $170 on Startup against $970 on GoHighLevel Starter, before GoHighLevel's usage charges.
If you need SMS, calling, reputation management or social posting in the same tool, GoHighLevel lists them as core features, and we did not find them on Systeme.io's pricing page. Budget for the usage charges on top of the plan.
If you run an agency with more than 3 client accounts, GoHighLevel Starter is not enough and Unlimited is $2,970 a year billed annually. Systeme.io states unlimited sub-accounts on every plan, so check that its per-account limits fit each client before comparing.
What we could not verify
GoHighLevel's pricing page names its $497 plan Founder on the plan card and Pro in its FAQ, and calls the $97 plan Agency Starter in the FAQ; we used the plan card names. We did not verify GoHighLevel's usage rates for SMS, email, calls and AI, whether GoHighLevel charges a platform fee on payments, the course and community limits on GoHighLevel plans, processor fees on either platform, or whether prices differ outside the United States.
