LiveChat pricing 2026: what the Text plans cost per user
LiveChat now sells Text plans to new customers: Essential at $19 per user a month billed annually or $25 monthly, Growth at $79 or $99. What each includes, extra AI costs and the older plans, read October 19, 2026.
The short answer
New LiveChat customers buy Text, the next product from the team behind LiveChat. Text Essential costs $19 per user a month billed annually, $228 a year, or $25 billed monthly. Text Growth costs $79 billed annually, $948 a year, or $99 billed monthly. Enterprise is priced on request.
Every plan is priced per user, and every person who answers chats or tickets needs a seat. Essential includes 10 AI resolutions a month and Growth 200; extra resolutions cost $49.50 for 50.

LiveChat plans became Text plans
LiveChat's pricing page now says that pricing for new trials "now lives here, as Text plans". Text keeps the live chat and adds a shared inbox, ticketing and an AI agent in one subscription.
Existing LiveChat customers keep their plan, price and login. Their plans stay listed on a separate page: Starter at $19 a month for one user, Team at $49 per person and Business at $79 per person, billed annually, or $25, $59 and $89 billed monthly. Text plans have a different feature mix, so they are not a one-to-one replacement.
Essential, Growth and Enterprise compared
The table lists the limits the pricing page shows for each plan. Growth adds chat supervision and takeover, shared canned responses, team performance reports, chat topic insights, chat and ticket summaries, and multilingual support. Enterprise adds custom AI agents, SSO and audit logs, SLAs and a white-label widget.

What a team pays
Billed annually, 3 users on Essential cost $57 a month, paid upfront for the year, or $75 billed monthly. 3 users on Growth cost $237 a month billed annually or $297 billed monthly. These are the pricing page's own examples for three people.
Annual billing saves about 24% on Essential and 20% on Growth. It is paid upfront for 12 months; monthly plans can be cancelled anytime.

AI resolutions and other costs
Text counts one AI resolution when its AI directly solves a customer question; several questions in the same chat count as one. Included resolutions reset every month.
Extra resolutions come in packages of 50 for $49.50 on Essential or Growth, which is $0.99 each. The pricing page's example: a 10-user Growth team that needs 350 resolutions a month buys three packages, $148.50, on top of the 200 included.
Other costs listed: packages of 100,000 extra API calls at $29.50, fees set by third-party Marketplace apps, and sales tax or VAT where it applies.
Free trial, discounts and cancellation
The free trial lasts 14 days on Essential and Growth, with no credit card. Because no card is collected, nothing is charged when it ends; you choose a plan and add a payment method to continue. Our partner link gives a 30-day free trial instead of 14 days and 10% off the first payment.
The pricing page lists no coupon code. Its discounts are annual billing and, for nonprofits and educational institutions, additional discounts to ask Text's team about before choosing a plan.
Plan changes take effect on the next billing cycle. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime; annual plans run for the 12 months paid and can be adjusted or cancelled at renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically.
What we could not verify
Whether unused resolutions from a package carry over to the next month. Whether annual prices hold at renewal. How the partner discount appears at checkout: we have not bought a plan.
