The short answer
SimplyBook.me has four plans with a published price and one custom plan. Free costs $0, Basic $13.90 a month, Standard $29.90 a month and Premium $59.90 a month. Billed annually, the same plans cost $11.90, $24.90 and $49.90 a month. Enterprise has no published price. SimplyBook.me does not charge per user: each plan includes a fixed number of monthly bookings, staff providers and premium custom features, and the plan you need depends on those three numbers. What changes from one plan to the next
Free includes 50 bookings a month, 1 provider and 1 premium custom feature. Basic includes 100 bookings, 5 providers and 3 premium custom features, and adds the Client App, payments, deposits, tips and point of sale (POS) as available options. Standard includes 500 bookings, 15 providers and 8 premium custom features, and adds the branded Client App, HIPAA and SAML SSO. Premium includes 2,000 bookings, 30 providers and unlimited premium custom features, and adds Payments PRO (refunds, payment links, vaulted cards), QuickBooks, FreshBooks and Xero integrations, and white label in the page footer. Enterprise sets bookings and providers per customer and adds multi-location access, an account manager, a high load API and a choice of data location. Free custom features do not count against any limit, according to the pricing page FAQ.
Monthly or annual billing: what the discount is worth
The pricing page advertises "Save 17%" with annual billing. On Standard and Premium, our arithmetic gives 16.7%: Standard costs $358.80 for 12 months billed monthly and $298.80 billed annually, a $60 difference; Premium costs $718.80 and $598.80, a $120 difference. On Basic the saving is smaller: $166.80 against $142.80, $24 or 14.4%. SimplyBook.me does not print yearly totals: the totals in this guide are 12 times the monthly price shown on the page.

Cost per provider and per booking
Because providers are included in the plan price, the cost per provider falls as the plans go up. Billed annually and with every included provider in use, Basic works out to $2.38 per provider a month, Standard to $1.66 and Premium to $1.66. Billed monthly, the figures are $2.78, $1.99 and $2.00. Per included booking, billed annually, Basic costs about 12 cents, Standard about 5 cents and Premium about 2.5 cents. These are our divisions of the published prices, not prices SimplyBook.me publishes, and they only hold if you use the full allowance.
What happens when you run out of bookings
According to the pricing page FAQ, when you reach the monthly booking limit your account stays active, your booking page stays online, existing bookings are unaffected, and you get a notification with the option to upgrade or buy more bookings. Extra bookings are sold in packages of 100 for $4, which is 4 cents a booking. Example with our arithmetic: Basic billed monthly ($13.90) plus 4 packages ($16) gives 500 bookings for $29.90, the same price as Standard billed monthly, which also includes 15 providers instead of 5. Billed annually, Standard is $24.90 against $27.90 for Basic plus 4 packages. The pricing page does not say whether unused package bookings carry over to the next month.
Extras billed separately
The subscription does not include messaging credits or a custom domain. The pricing page lists 100 SMS credits for $8, 100 WhatsApp credits for $8, 100 AI Voice Booking credits for $8, the Social Media and Ads feature at $11 a month, a custom domain with 3 years of SSL for $119, your own SMS gateway for $149, and account manager assistance at $100 an hour. A Full Setup service starts at $499 and, according to the page, includes 4 hours of setup assistance, 1 hour with a designer, a 1 hour training session and two months of premium subscription. SimplyBook.me says it charges no transaction fee on bookings or customer payments; payment processors such as Stripe, PayPal or Square charge their own fees.

The free plan and the 14-day trial
The Free plan has no time limit and needs no credit card, but the pricing page FAQ says it needs to be renewed monthly. New accounts start with a 14-day free trial that, according to the page, includes most features and 50 bookings, with no payment information required. Four custom features are not in the trial: Coupons and Gift Cards, HIPAA, Import Clients and point of sale (POS). After the trial you choose a plan. Paid plans can be cancelled or downgraded at any time without a cancellation fee; a cancelled plan stays active until the end of the billing period.
Which plan fits
Start from your monthly booking count and the number of staff who take bookings. One person with fewer than 50 bookings a month can stay on Free. Up to 100 bookings and 5 providers, Basic is the lowest paid plan. Clinics that need HIPAA features or teams that need single sign-on start at Standard, whatever their volume. Above 500 bookings or 15 providers, Premium is the next step, up to 2,000 bookings and 30 providers. If you regularly need 200 to 500 bookings on Basic, compare the cost of booking packages with Standard before buying them every month. Our deal page lists the Standard plan on annual billing, $24.90 a month instead of $29.90.
