How to find legitimate AI software deals
Use this checklist to validate an AI or SaaS discount before you buy.
Start with the regular price, not the discount badge
A 70% badge is meaningless if the reference price is outdated, monthly pricing is being compared with annual billing, or the discounted plan removes important limits. Open the vendor's official pricing page. Match the exact plan, billing period, currency and included usage. A trustworthy deal page should show both the evidence source and the date it was checked.
Check what renews and when
Ask whether the discount applies once, for a fixed number of months, for the first year, or forever. For annual plans, convert both prices to the same time period. For usage-based AI products, verify whether credits reset monthly and whether extra usage is charged separately.
Treat AI lifetime deals differently
AI products pay recurring infrastructure costs for models, storage and generation. A one-time price can still be legitimate, but unlimited lifetime usage is a higher-risk promise. Look for explicit limits, fair-use rules, model access terms and a credible path for the company to fund ongoing usage.
Verify the landing page and coupon instructions
The destination page should load, match the product and explain how the offer works. If a coupon is required, the code and eligible plan should be clear. A working page does not prove every claim, so price and terms still need review.
Evaluate vendor risk
Check product age, release activity, customer support, refund terms, company identity and whether customers report abrupt plan changes. For a business-critical tool, a smaller discount from a stable vendor can be worth more than an extreme discount from an unproven product.
Use a simple buying rule
Buy only when the tool solves a current problem, the break-even period is reasonable and you could tolerate the product disappearing. A deal is not savings if it creates another unused subscription.
Questions
Does a reachable website mean the deal is verified?
No. Reachability is one signal. Price, plan, eligibility and coupon terms need separate confirmation.
Are lifetime AI deals always bad?
No, but ongoing AI costs make limits and vendor sustainability especially important.
